Granted by the Hong Kong Industry Department, it is a recognition for Lee Kum Kee that it has practised an effective quality management in its manufacturing processes and the company has a lasting commitment to continuous quality improvement.

Issued by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, Lee Kum Kee is licenced to use the Hong Kong Quality Mark for over 40 kinds of sauces and condiments it produced, as recognition for its product quality being complied to the Federation's standard / specification.


 


HKQAA - ISO 9002 : 1994 International Quality Accreditation Certificate No.: CC357

Granted by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency, Lee Kum Kee is the first food manufacturer in Hong Kong being accredited with the ISO 9002 Certificate on quality.

Granted by the British Standards Institution, Lee Kum Kee is the first food manufacturer in Hong Kong to operate a quality system that complies with the requirements of the subject accreditation.

The launch of Lee Kum Kee Seasoned Soy Sauce for Seafood has been awarded the "HKMA/TVB Award for Marketing Excellence" in Hong Kong. This award bestows honor and public recognition on organizations that have raised the standards of the marketing profession in Hong Kong through outstanding marketing programmes. The Lee Kum Kee campaign won the bronze prize for its meticulous consumer research, which accurately analysed the market opportunity and successfully developed a product that satisfied customer needs.

No. 1 Food Brand in Asia

Lee Kum Kee has been recognised as Asia's leading food and beverage brand according to Interbrand's Top 50 Asian Brands List, and fourth overall in the combined category list.

Interbrand, one of the leading international branding consultancies, compiled the Top 50 list for inclusion in the March '99 launch of Asian Brand News - the publication from Media Marketing Ltd.

 


 


1999 Lee Kum Kee achieved Superband Status


In a recent publication of a magazine from Hong Kong, Lee Kum Kee was ranked as the leading food and beverage brand of Asia including Australia (excluding Japan). In May 1999, Lee Kum Kee was again recognised for its outstanding presence in the Asian marketplace. Lee Kum Kee has been awarded the Good People Management Award 2000 by the Labour Department in Hong Kong. Winning this award represents a major recognition for Lee Kum Kee's policy in human resources management.

LEE KUM KEE A Superband for 3 Consecutive Years

For the third consecutive year, Lee Kum Kee was honoured with the SuperBrand Award - a select award for brands that excel in the eyes of the consumer.

The SuperBrand Award was organized by the internationally renowned Reader's Digest magazine. Reader's Digest Magazine has been conducting the annual SuperBrands Survey since 1999. The objective of this survey is to identify brands that are most appealing to Asian consumers among different categories. Achieving SuperBrands status represents the recognition of consistent outstanding quality accredited and trusted by the end users at large.

HK 10 Supermarket Favorite Brand Award organized by Wellcome Supermarket.

Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce was honored with the 2002 HK 10 Supermarket Favorite Brand Award organized by Wellcome Supermarket. Achieving the top ten favorite brand status is a tremendous recognition as it is a vote of confidence and a seal of approval by consumers.

Yahoo!Emotive Brand Award

Lee Kum Kee has won "The Brand Yahoo! Users Have Most Memories From Growing Up" Award in the Inaugural "Yahoo! Emotive Brand Awards" - the first ever awards recognizing brands' emotional ties with consumers.

ISO 9002

Lee Kum Kee's ISO Quality System successfully passed the conversion certification audit in June 2002 and is upgraded to version 2000. Granted by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency, it is an international recognition for Lee Kum Kee being accredited on good quality. Information Technology, Data & Document Control and Research & Development have been newly added into the ISO Quality Management System but they have passed the audit also.

For five consecutive years, Lee Kum Kee has won SuperBrand Gold Award in Hong Kong and Singapore (seasoning products category) organized by the internationally renowned Reader's Digest magazine. Lee Kum Kee was awarded the "China Top Brand" by the State General Administration of the People's Republic of China for Quality Supervision and Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ). 100 Star Enterprises of Overseas Chinese in China

Lee Kum Kee received the "2000 - 2002 100 Star Enterprises of Overseas Chinese in China" award. This was the very first time the government of China held such high-level award presentation. A total of 500 Enterprises of Overseas Chinese were shortlisted. The top 100 enterprises came from various industries, while investors came from 11 different countries and regions.

Lee Kum Kee (USA) Foods, Inc. successfully achieved ISO 9001:2000 Certificate after going through a meticulous audit that was conducted by SGS International.


 

AIB International Superior Certificate of Achievement

After undergoing a thorough audit, Lee Kum Kee (USA) Foods, Inc. successfully achieved the "Certificate of Achievement" with a "Superior" rating (score of 960/1000) from AIB International (American Institute of Baking) for 2003. AIB is known to have one of the highest food safety standards certifications in the world, which many customers require to do business. Lee Kum Kee (USA) Foods, Inc. has successfully received a 'Superior' rating (a rating above 900) for the past four years.


 

2nd Asia Pacific International / Malaysia Honesty Enterprise - Keris Award 2003

Lee Kum Kee was honored the "2nd Asia Pacific International / Malaysia Honesty Enterprise - Keris Award 2003". This award was selectively granted to corporations based on their outstanding contributions in various community services, development of innovative marketing strategies and good business practices and planning.

Lee Kum Kee (Guangzhou) Food Co., Ltd. received ISO9001:2000 certificate from China Quality Certification Center, which indicated a new leap forward of our quality control.


 

HACCP Certificate

Lee Kum Kee (Guangzhou) Food Co., Ltd. received HACCP Certificate and become one of the food manufacturers that firstly passed the united certification of ISO9001:2000 and HACCP.

Lee Kum Kee (Xinhui) Food Co., Ltd. was awarded as one of the "2000-2002 Star Enterprises of Overseas Chinese in Guangdong Province".



Caring Company

Lee Kum Kee was awarded again the "Caring Company" logo by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS), as one of the 493 companies being awarded. The "Caring Company Scheme" aimed to build a caring community spirit through cultivating Corporate citizenship and strategic partnership between business and social service sector.


 

Yahoo! Emotive Brand Awards for Industry Award

Lee Kum Kee received the "Yahoo! Emotive Brand Awards for Industry - Best Integrated Campaign for Below-the-Line", organized by Yahoo! Hong Kong. The award aimed to recognize the creativity and outstanding achievement in planning and executing marketing campaigns. Professional marketers judged the campaign mainly based on its creativity, strategy, overall cohesiveness and continuity.


 

"Good Corporate Citizen" Acknowledgement

Lee Kum Kee has participated in the "Cheer Up! Hong Kong" campaign to help invigorate the economy and the spirit of Hong Kong in 2003 and was acknowledged "Good Corporate Citizen" by Yahoo! Hong Kong.
