Powerful Fruit Recipe:
 
Powerful Fruit Recipe: Asian Coleslaw (4 serves)

Ingredients:

1/2 pound cabbage, thinly sliced crosswise

1/2 pound red cabbage, thinly sliced crosswise
4 scallions (white and green parts), thinly sliced
1 orange, seeded and thinly sliced
1 unpeeled red apple
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
 
Dressings:
1 1/2 tbsp Lee Kum Kee White Vinegar
1 1/2 tsp Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce
1 1/2 tsp Japanese mirinade
1 lime, juiced
1 1/2 tsp finely grated peeled fresh ginger
1 1/2 tsp peanut oil
1 1/2 tsp Lee Kum Kee Sesame Oil

Method:

  1. Whisk the vinegar with the soy sauce, mirin, lime juice, and grated ginger in a bowl. Then, gradually whisk in the peanut and sesame oils and set aside.
  2. Toss the cabbage, scallions, orange in a large bowl with 1/4 cup of the dressing.
  3. Grate the apple (with the skin but not the seeds) directly into the salad, and toss again with the rest of the dressing.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste
