Asparagus Rolls in Oyster Sauce

Asparagus 120 g [8 pcs,cut into 15 cm sections]
Mashed shrimp meat 300 g
Water chestnuts 2 pcs [chopped]

Sauce & Marinade

Corn starch 1 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Pepper a little
Premium Oyster Sauce 2 tbsp
Pure Sesame Oil 1 tsp
Water 3 tbsp
Corn starch 1/2 tsp

  1. Add marinade to mashed shrimp meat, keep stirring until sticky.   Stir in water chestnuts.  Divide shrimp meat into 8 portions and wrap around stem of each asparagus.
  2. Arrange asparagus on a serving plate.  Steam over high heat for 10 minutes or until done.  Pour away excess liquid.
  3. Heat through sauce mix and pour over asparagus.
