Braised Fish and Fried Bean Curd with Dark Soy Sauce

Ingredients

Fish fillet 300 g [or Garoupa, cut into pieces]
Fried bean curd/Fried tofu 170 g [cut into pieces]
Chinese mushroom(s) 5 pcs [soaked and halved]
Ginger (s) 3 slices
Green onion(s) 2 pcs [sectioned]


Sauce & Marinade

Pure Sesame Oil 1 tsp
Corn starch 1 tsp
Salt 1/4 tsp
Pepper a pinch
Egg white 1 tbsp
Premium Dark Soy Sauce 2 tbsp
Double Deluxe Soy Sauce 1 tbsp
Pure Sesame Oil 2 tbsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Corn starch 1/2 tsp
Water 125 ml


Produce
  1. Mix fish with marinade.
  2. Stir-fry ginger, green onions and Chinese mushrooms in 2 tbsp oil until fragrant.
  3. Add fish and fried bean curd.  Toss well.
  4. Stir in sauce mix and cook until sauce thickened.
